Thoughts of a panda..

I dunno why... But this morning.. I can say that I was really "AWAKE". It wasn't like those regular days where in I have to drag myself out of the bed to get ready for school... Anyway, today we went to UP. Its not my first time going around the campus since I got 2 sisters who study there. Well, 1 nalang... 1 Sis finished architecture and my other sis is taking Fine Arts. We just went around the whole facility and they explained to us how they experiment with water and cement and all that other stuff. Its suppose to show us how to be engineers for our future career. Well, I've never really thought of being an engineer myself... I still remember how I would act before when my mom would ask me what I want to be when I was a kid. Id say something like, "I want to be a pilot!!! ow no, maybe a race car driver!! and a magician at the same time!!" Yeah, thats how easy I thought it would be.. Well, I was a kid.... But when I entered Grade school, all that changed. Believe it or not, I had a "Geeky" habit before. Instead of watching all those anime shows that all my other classmates watched, I was watching discovery channel and animal planet all day. For some reason, animals really interested me in a weird way, and I was just attached to learning about them growing up *call me weird*. Thats why, when my mom asked me again what I wanted to be, I said "Im gonna be a vet". That was really my plan until I reached grade 4 in the Ateneo. My favorite teacher "his name was Mr.Vince Chacon" was giving us our religion class. He said theres nothing more precious in this world, than human life. That statement he said got stuck in my head ever since. And once i got home, I was watching discovery channel "like I always used to before" Then I caught a show about doctors trying to save a little girl from a disease, and they were successful. I was touched when the girl hugged the doctor in tears and said that she owed him her life.. Thats when I knew what I want to be in the future.... I want to be a doctor... and that goal of mine got stuck in my head ever since... even until now. I promised myself that I'd do everything to accomplish this dream of mine. One of the people that inspire me is my tito. He's an optometrist/surgeon in a hospital and I find his work to be very interesting and rewarding. I just hope that in the future, I can follow in his foot steps. Id be a doctor who plays guitar in a rock band... Yeah, that sounds good to me :D
