Thoughts of a panda..

SATURDAY!!!! FINALLY!!!!!

I've been getting too drained cos of school.... seriously... I still have a hard time sleeping early and end up sluggish in class... GAAAHHH I HATE IT!!! ...

Well anyway, Saturday.. right.. Well I woke up at around 9 pm today which gave me around 30 mins to eat breakfast and freshen up before my classical teacher came here. I messed up ALOT of times when I tried playing the song he gave me on notation.. Unlike my sis.... Guhhh.. she's more advanced than me in classical.... but I know I shouldn't be affected... She really put lots of effort memorizing the things, good for her :D

Well after the lessons, me and sum of the guys were gonna meet in DASC, but my sisters came with me which made me 30mins late so I just told the guys to go ahead. My dad dropped me off at the overpass and I went straight to the Yamaha store.

I was looking for a pocket sized metronome since the only metronome I have is the 1 people used 100 years ago with that wind up lever and that long swinging arm. The girl managing the place gave me the new metronomes that they got on stock [GTX Metro-Tuner MT-30] and I asked if they could teach me how to use the thing. They asked the guitar teacher to teach me and he told me to go up to the session room where students usually take their lessons.

I was asking him how I could use the built in tuner to tune my guitar 1half step lower cos I told him I'm trying to learn some of Malmsteen's songs. Figured out that he was a huge Malmsteen fan and also favored Paul Gilbert *woohooo* I learned that not only was he a teacher, but he also recorded tracks in studios and played for people in gigs as a jazz guitarist.

"Ow I think I know what you do, since my dad is also a jazz guitarist and a session artist" I said. So he asked me who my dad was... "My dad is Rudy Lozano" I said. He totally couldn't believe it.

"Your the son of Sir Rudy Lozano?! WOW your so lucky!"

....I was still wondering what was wrong with him....

"Uhmm.. yeah do you know him?"I asked.

"Who doesn't know him??? hes a legend in jazz!" he told me. He even knew my dad's old album and the name of one of his guitars =))

It felt really good hearing that actually... I mean, how many guys can say that their dad is know by Jazz players around the city?

We'll after he taught me how to use my metronome, we had a chat about what guitars he played, what effects he uses, the different qualities you get from guitar effects, and he also asked about my dad's equipment.

I dunno but I found it pretty interesting talking to Chris, even though he was more than twice my age. I guess all guitar players have a bond that makes each one feel comfortable talking about anything. I finally got to buy the thing and left the store.

The game would've lasted longer if pao didn't quit... "grabe pao wag ka pikon.... masaya naman yung laro ehh :D " hehehehe...

We also went to box o rice and mini stop to eat whatever we wanted.. Then back to dota!!!! kakainis yung game though, me and Pao were about to win already then my PC crashes...

WOW ayos talaga.... after that we all decided to go home already...

Its time to play with this metronome ...
